This Privacy Policy explains what information CaliberVisual (the "Service") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google and nothing else; we never see your Google password.
- Content — the brand assets, animations, and project data you create in the Service.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor, Polar. We do not store your full card details.
- Usage data — which pages you visit, which animations you open and export, and the plan you are on, collected through Google Analytics so we can see what works.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. That one is essential: the Service cannot sign you in without it.
We also load Google Analytics, which sets _ga and _ga_* to give this browser a random identifier so repeat visits are counted once, and the Meta pixel, which sets _fbp and is used to measure and target our advertising. You can block both in your browser settings, or with any tracker blocker; the Service works without them.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, authenticate you, and communicate with you about your account.
Third parties
We share data with service providers who help us operate the Service: Google (sign-in and analytics), Polar (payments, invoices and tax), and the companies that host our servers and database. Each of them processes data only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information.
Data storage
Your data is stored in our database and retained for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and everything in it, email support@calibervisual.com from the address you signed up with; we delete it within 30 days, apart from invoices we are legally required to keep.
