About the Merch Code animation

Merch Code is for the moment you share a creator code with viewers, on stream or in a video. The product photo appears beside a badge with the Discount, and the Code sits under the Kicker where it's clear to read and note down. Replace the Product photo, then change Kicker, Discount, Code and Badge colour to match your offer. Keep Code short and in capitals so viewers type it without mistakes. It's a graphic, so the code still has to exist at your store checkout before anyone can redeem it.

Where it fits

  • At the end of a sponsored segment, to show the code while you read it aloud.
  • On stream when a merch sale starts, placed in a corner over gameplay.
  • In a short announcing a weekend sale, alongside a shot of the item being worn.

Filling it in

Write Code the way viewers will type it, like NOVA15 or CREW20, with no spaces. Keep Discount to a figure, such as 20% or $10 off, and choose a Badge colour that contrasts with the product photo.

Format and timing

Merch Code is built at 640 × 360, a 16:9 landscape frame, the shape of a YouTube video, a stream layout and most editing timelines, and runs 3 seconds at 30 frames per second. It arrives in 1.5 seconds, holds for 0.4 and clears in 1.1, so cue it a beat before the moment it labels. Export it as an MP4 for a timeline or a feed, a GIF where video will not embed, or a MOV with an alpha channel to lay it over footage with nothing behind it. Renders go up to 4K on a paid plan. The free plan shows a watermarked preview.

Questions about Merch Code

Does the code work at checkout?

Only if you've created it in your store. The animation shows the code but doesn't create or apply it.

What can I change?

You can replace the Product photo, the one photo slot, and edit Kicker, Discount, Code and Badge colour.

What size and length is Merch Code?

It's 640 x 360, a 16:9 overlay, and lasts 3 seconds. It has a transparent background, so it sits over your footage.
