About the Combo Counter animation

Use it when chat piles onto the same emote or viewers chain the same action in quick succession. Each hit punches the number up and sends a ring outwards, then a timer bar drains to show the combo is ending. Change Label and set Combo to the number you want it to reach. Keep Label to one word so it sits above the count. The count is what you type, not a live tally of chat.

Where it fits

  • Over gameplay, when you land a run of hits in a row.
  • During a chat challenge, marking the moment a streak ends.
  • In a highlight clip, showing how long a chat streak lasted.

Filling it in

Label is in caps by default, so alternatives like STREAK or RUN should follow. Write Combo as x20 or 20x, keeping the number short.

Format and timing

Combo Counter is built at 640 × 360, a 16:9 landscape frame, the shape of a YouTube video, a stream layout and most editing timelines, and runs 3.2 seconds at 30 frames per second. It arrives in 2.2 seconds, holds for 0.5 and clears in 0.5, so cue it a beat before the moment it labels. Export it as an MP4 for a timeline or a feed, a GIF where video will not embed, or a MOV with an alpha channel to lay it over footage with nothing behind it. Renders go up to 4K on a paid plan. The free plan shows a watermarked preview.
