About the Quest Log animation

Quest Log turns the usual end-of-video asks into a checklist that suits gaming channels. Over your gameplay, the log appears and three tasks tick off in order before a stamp lands across it. Change Log title, Like label, Subscribe label, Bell label, Stamp label and Stamp colour to match your channel's tone. Keep each label to one or two words so the rows stay aligned. It's a graphic, so viewers still like, subscribe and turn on notifications with the platform's own buttons.

Where it fits

  • Over a quiet stretch of gameplay, as a reminder that doesn't pause the action.
  • At the end of a walkthrough episode, before the card for the next part.
  • At the start of a new series, to set up the asks once in a way that fits the game.

Filling it in

Keep labels in caps, like LIKE, SUB and BELL, to match the default style. Choose a Stamp colour that stands out from the game's palette, and keep Stamp label to two words, such as QUEST COMPLETE or TASK DONE.

Format and timing

Quest Log is built at 640 × 360, a 16:9 landscape frame, the shape of a YouTube video, a stream layout and most editing timelines, and runs 4 seconds at 30 frames per second. It arrives in 2.2 seconds, holds for 0.9 and clears in 0.9, so cue it a beat before the moment it labels. Export it as an MP4 for a timeline or a feed, a GIF where video will not embed, or a MOV with an alpha channel to lay it over footage with nothing behind it. Renders go up to 4K on a paid plan. The free plan shows a watermarked preview.
